This document outlines the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for the Division of Drug, Terrorism & General Crime Prevention of the Indonesian Crime Prevention Institute (LCKI). This division serves as the frontline in preventive efforts against major crimes that threaten social stability and national security.
🎯 I. PURPOSEÂ
To enhance the effectiveness of preventing major crimes through educational, collaborative, and investigative approaches involving the community, law enforcement agencies, and strategic partners.
💼 II. MAIN DUTIES
- Map areas vulnerable to drugs, terrorism, and general crime
- Develop educational and outreach programs for crime prevention
- Conduct preliminary investigations into community reports
- Establish cooperation with BNN, Densus 88, Polri, and related institutions
- Prepare analytical reports and policy recommendations
- Provide assistance to victims or whistleblowers of major crimes
- Organize training on early detection and community vigilance
📋 III. WORK PROCEDURES
- Mapping & Identification
- Collect data on vulnerable areas based on community and media reports
- Develop crime risk maps categorized by type (drugs, terrorism, general crime)
- Conduct field observations and interviews with community leaders
- Education & Outreach
- Develop educational materials on the dangers of drugs, radicalism, and general crime
- Organize seminars, campaigns, and community training sessions
- Disseminate educational content through social media and LCKI’s official publications
- Preliminary Investigation
- Receive and verify community reports
- Collect initial evidence ethically and professionally
- Prepare investigative reports to be forwarded to law enforcement agencies

- Strategic Partnerships
- Collaborate with BNN, Densus 88, Polri, and other legal institutions
- Draft MoUs for data exchange and joint training
- Participate in national forums on major crime prevention
- Assistance & Advocacy
- Provide support to victims or whistleblowers of major crimes
- Draft legal and psychosocial assistance letters
- Submit policy recommendations to the government and strategic partners
📌 IV. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure confidentiality of data from whistleblowers and victims
- Submit activity reports to the Chairman and Secretary General
- Maintain accuracy and objectivity in analysis and investigations
- Represent LCKI in national forums on security and crime prevention
